Irina Bulusheva (born October 27, 1994) is a bioinformatician and filmmaker.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and earned a PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 2025. In 2023, she completed a three-month “KinoLaboratory” program. In 2025, she also completed a dramaturgy course at “Invisible Friends”. In 2026, she will begin further studies in film directing in “kinodproc”.

In 2026, she directed her short film, “Cardboard Echo”, a poetic work reflecting on childhood, memory, and family relationships.

Her artistic approach is characterized by emotional depth, minimalism, and symbolic imagery, focusing on translating personal experiences into a universal visual language.

Alongside her filmmaking practice, she works as a bioinformatician at a company focused on cancer research and treatment.
